The PPC is charged with bringing Our Lady of Sorrows’
vision to life. Members include the
parish staff, a representative from each of the commissions and the finance
council, members-at-large and two youth-at-large. The members-at-large serve
three-year terms.
During
their monthly meetings, the PPC communicates, debates, and deliberates while
working toward the parish vision. The PPC serves as an advisor to the parish
staff in all aspects of OLOS’ administrative and spiritual life.
The
PPC wants to constantly hear from OLOS parishioners to make sure its focus and
the parish activities are meeting our community’s needs. They encourage
parishioners to call them with comments and questions - or catch them after
mass. They’re eager to hear from you. Or you can write a note in the Comment
Book at the back of the church. The comment book is read out loud and discussed
during each PPC meeting.
